COVID-19 Payment Plan Information
On July 29, 2020, North Carolina Executive Order 142 that suspended utility disconnections and late fees because of COVID-19 will expire. Customers will be provided the opportunity to make a reasonable Payment Plan to pay off over a six (6) month period any accumulated charges that occurred from March 31, 2020 – July 29, 2020.
No late fees shall be charged and no termination of service will occur while a written and signed Payment Plan is active and remains in good standing.
Upon request, customers will receive an initial Payment Plan installment agreement with all agreed upon dates and payment amounts. HRW will email or mail you the Payment Plan.
Payment Plans do NOT cover new monthly bills, charges, fees, etc. and all new bills are due and payable on or before the due date.
Payment Plans will automatically cancel if payment installment AND/OR current bills are not paid on or before the due date(s).
Customer will need to sign signifying agreement to the terms and conditions of the Payment Plan. Customers will also need to return the signed agreement to HRW through email, fax, US mail or deposit into our drop box located at 700 McKinney Pkwy in Lillington.
Failure to accept a Payment Plan or to pay the balance due by August 31, 2020 will result in late fees and termination of service.
Failure to make the scheduled payments for a Payment Plan will result in the Payment Plan being declared null and void and the customer will become subject to late fees and termination of service of the unpaid balance of charges incurred after the Plan ends.
No provision in North Carolina Executive Orders 124 and/or 142 relieved a customer of their obligation to pay bills for receipt of service covered by the orders.
